Horseback Riding Camps

For 2021, Pony Paddock at Dragon’s Lair will offer a half-day (8:30am-12:30pm) camp over Spring Break (March 22-March 26) and a full-day camp over Summer Break. There is a limit of 10 kids per week. Camp is designed to teach students what it would be like to have a horse/pony of their own. Camp is based on the United States Pony Club manuals. Children learn what horses eat, how to identify health issues, hoof care, and care of tack and equipment.

2021 Camp Dates

  • March 22nd to March 26th
  • June 21st to June 25th
  • June 28th to July 2nd
  • July 5th to July 9th

  • July 19th to July 23rd
  • July 26th to July 30th

All children are expected to participate in barn chores, including cleaning stalls, feeding the horses, and cleaning tack.
